Polyurethane guarantees greater resistance to wear and incisions than rubber, vinyl and neoprene. The central steel ring, in addition to facilitating the loading of the discs on the balance, represents an additional factor to reinforce the area most prone to wear and damage, often resulting from the hasty and inaccurate insertion of the plates in the racks by groups of users.
